  1. Is there a way to prefix tools on Different Monitor spaces??

Hello Team, I would like to ask if someone has any recommendation about how to be able to Fix tools in Monitor spaces, I mean. For example, when I connect my laptop to a Docking station, that is connected to a Big Monitor or 2 Big Monitors I spend a lot of time moving the tools I use to the spaces I want.Example: When connected every time I have to: Move Outlook tool to the left monitor to see on half of the screen. Outlook calendar to the one quarter space available in that monitor. Then Move the browsers and the work tools to the Monitor in the right, and lastly move MS Teams and One Note to

Any portable Windows tool that monitors activities on a specific HDD?

Seeking advice on a (preferably) portable Windows tool that shows all activities and / or processes that are accessing a specific HDD.
When launching WIndows' Resource Monitor (tab 'Disk') it will show activities on -all- drives. AFAIK there is no way to 'limit' thge display of activities just for one drive out of the list.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Different Backgrounds on each monitor

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand that you are unable to set different wallpapers on each monitors.

We would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.

    Method 1: Identify Displays.

Try using the Identify option to identify the displays and then check if you can set different background. Refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows key + I, to open
      Settings
      .
    2. Click on System, and select
      Display
      on the left pane.
    3. Now, under Rearrange your displays, click on
      Identify to identify the displays.

    Refer screenshot below:

Once the displays are identified as Monitor 1 and Monitor 2, try setting the background.

    Method 2: Duplicating Displays

One other thing we can try is to set the displays to Duplicate first and then Extend them.

To Duplicate the Displays, press Windows key + P, and select
Duplicate. Follow the same steps and select Extend.

After Extending the displays, check if we get the option to set different backgrounds.

    Method 3: Reinstall Display Drivers.

If Method 1 and 2 didn’t help, we can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Display Drivers. Refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows key + X, and select
      Device Manager.
    2. Expand Display adapters.
    3. Now, right click on the Display
      device
      and select Uninstall Device.
    4. Once the device is uninstalled, click on Actions and select
      Scan for hardware changes.
    5. Restart the computer.

    Let us know the results.

    Hi Sarah,

One of the possible reasons why your disk space was reduced is due to an unallocated disk space on your partitions. For us to isolate your concern, we suggest that you check your device's partition. To do this, follow the steps provided below:

    • Type Computer Management on Ask me anything and press
      Enter.
    • Select Storage and click on Disk Management.
    • Send us a screenshot.
We look forward to your response.
