    is there a way to reliably set global audio settings for Windows 11?


    Hi, with both my work and personal laptops, every time i plug into a new HDMI plug or docking station every individual application windows audio, teams, google meet, zoom, discord etc seems to choose its own audio settings. for work purposes I really need a way to quickly and reliably have ALL audio devices either working through 1. USB headset regardless of which USB port its plugged into 2. HDMI cable meeting rooms 3. laptop speakers/mic team stand-ups in a breakout room or nook in the office changing between the three listed ways I use my devices to video conference is agonizing and

    Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.
