Windows 10: Is there a way to retrieve a PREVIOUS MS account password?

I'm coping with an older BitLocked Win 10, Lenovo Thinkpad. I have the recovery key, and all was going well until I got to the step asking for the MS account password. The password was changed a while ago while this computer was locked. So this computer is looking for the previous MS account pw, which is stored somewhere on it obviously a locked computer isn't on the internet. I'm in a Catch 22 situation where I can't find the PREVIOUS MS account password because the computer is locked, and I can't unlock the computer because I need the pw! No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.
