Windows 10: Is there a way to run a batch file to restart the print spooler?

My wife is learning to hate Windows. The print spooler keeps stopping which means she cannot print anything even to her local USB printer. This never happens on my Windows 11 laptop. There is a sequence of net stop spooler then net start spooler that will do the job but the prospect of asking her to open a batch file as Administrator is more than I can face. Open Services to stop and start the Spooler? No. I want either Microsoft to fix this intermittent headache which updates do not fix or give a way that can be reduced to an batch file on her desktop.

Script to restart print spooler

Hi

I'm trying to get a script to restart the print spooler on a server from a slient so I don't have to remote in and restart it manually each time. Is this possible?

I have the restart code, just need to point it to a server.

Method 1: You will need to clear spooler files and restart the spooler service.

1. Open Run dialog (Windows Key +R) and type Services.msc
   to open Windows Services.
   
2. In the Services list, double-tap (or double-click) Print Spooler. Select Stop > OK.
   
3. Open Run dialog once again and type %WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers, select the file folder in the search results, and then delete all files in the folder.
   
4. Open Windows Services once again as you did in step 1.
   
5. In the Services list, double-tab (or double-click) Print Spooler.
   
6. Select Start, and in the Startup Type list, make sure that Automatic is selected, and then select OK.

Prior to installing the Windows 10 upgrade my printers (Lexmark X5470 and Canon MG 5520) worked great. Now neither will print, copy, or scan as I receive a message the "print spooler is not running". I went into services, view local services and restarted
the spooler numerous time, but after each restart, I receive another message "the print spooler is not running". I have downloaded the current software and drivers for the printers, but after restarting the spooler the message still come up "the print spooler
is not running." There are no error codes associated with the message.

These printers are compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 Pro, but are they not compatible with Windows 10?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
