Add a button to the address bar.

I would like to add the Zoom button to my new Edge address bar. Have found the following how to do it on the web but they don't work like the instructions say.

How to manage the address bar buttons on Microsoft Edge

To customize the buttons that appear next to the address bar, use these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the Settings and more menu button on the top-right corner. (I assume that is the three dots in a row)
3. Select the Show in toolbar sub-menu. (Don't see 'Show in toobar)
4. Click the action button that you want to add or remove from the toolbar.

Zoom in and off affect

Hi Hannah,

It's possible that the Pinch Zoom feature is enabled on your device. To check, follow these steps:

1. Type Mouse & Touchpad settings and select the best match.
2. Click on Additional mouse option.
3. Click on the Device Settings tab and click on the Settings
   button.
4. From the left side panel, click Pinch Zoom option and uncheck the box next to
   Enable Pinch Zoom.
5. Click Apply and OK.
6. Close the window and check if the changes are effective.

Problem turning off the "pinch-zoom" feature

To disable pinch-zoom feature for Synaptics, follow the steps given below and check:

1. Press Windows key + X, select Control Panel.

2. In the list of option select Mouse and then click Mouse from the top of the search results. This opens the Mouse Properties window.

3. Next, click the right-most tab, labeled Device Settings, and click the Settings button.

4. From the left-hand column, click Pinch Zoom and uncheck the box on the right labeled Enable Pinch Zoom.

5. Click OK to save your preference.



For laptops with the Cypress touchpad driver, follow these steps:

1. Open the Mouse Properties window as before.

2. Next, click the Cypress TrackPad tab and click the link, "Click to Change Cypress TrackPad Settings."

3. Then click on the 2-Finger Gestures tab and uncheck the box labeled Zoom In/Out.

4. Click OK to save your preference
