Windows 10: Is there a way to stop getting offered Preview Updates without Insider

Hi there,

is there a way to not get offered these preview updates (Preview of Monthly Rollup, Preview of .Net etc)?

The important part is, I am NOT an Insider. I do not, have not and never will participate in that Insider Programme. It's even greyed out because I disabled telemetry.

Furthermore I activated Metered Connection so Windows won't automatically download updates. I have to manually start to download them. This gives me the chance to block unwanted updates (like the preview ones) with Microsoft's official wushowhide.diagcab.

But I'm lazy and these previews are good for absolutely nothing. I can wait for their final versions. So the question is, is there a way to get rid of them completely? All Google results point to that Insider Programme but I won't activate that just to deactive something.

Want to stop Insider Preview

Recently using Insider Preview build 10565 from stable build 10240. Now if I stop getting Insider Preview from Windows Update- Advanced option-Stop Insider Preview Builds then what will happen? When Microsoft will officially release this build 10565 should
I will be able to get it? How? Even if I don't stop getting Insider Preview when will it go for a stable copy from evaluation version?

 

Uninstall Insider Preview?

To uninstall a preview and rollback to the final version of the Windows 10 May 2019 Update, use these steps:

Open Settings.

Click on Update & Security.

Click on Recovery.

Under the "Go back to the previous version of Windows 10" section, click the Get started button.

Select any reason from the list.

Click the Next button.

Click the No, thanks button.

Click the Next button.

Click the Next button again.

Click the Go back to earlier build button.

After completing the steps, your device will revert to the stable version of Windows 10, and then, you can use the steps below to stop getting Insider builds.

 

Cant get out of Insider Preview Versions

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Go to the following website Windows Insider Program
• Sign In using the credentials that you used to sign up.
• At the top of the page, click the Leave Program tab.
• Confirm that you want to leave.

Note: This will only remove your participation in the Insiders Program.

The Automatic Feedback can only be stopped by
uninstalling the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

• Restart the machine.
• Sign out from the Microsoft Account and sign in again and check if it persists.
