Windows 10: Is there a way to switch my TV input to my PC by pressing a button on my keyboard?

I use my TV as a monitor for my WIndows 11 PC. I have an AMD RX 7600 graphics card, using HDMI into the TV if that matters. It's a Sony Bravia 4K TV.On my PS5, I can switch to the HDMI input my PS5 is using by simply pressing the PS button on the Dualsense controller. I can do the same thing with my XBox Series X - I just press the XBox button and the TV switches to the HDMI input of the XBox. This means I don't have to use my TV remote to switch inputs if I want to game on either console.It may sound lazy but for me it's convenience, and a nice feature. It saves me a whole 2 extra button pres

Norwegian keyboard showing up when switching input language

I appreciate your effort on this. I understand that you see Norwegian keyboard when you switch between the input languages. As you have checked the installed keyboard languages using PowerShell and didn’t find the keyboard language, I suggest you to
refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if you are able to find the keyboard language:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type lpksetup and click on
   OK.
   
3. Click on Uninstall display languages.
   
4. If you find Norwegian keyboard listed, click on it and click on
   Next.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the language pack.
   

Let us know how it goes. If the issue persists, we will be glad to help you further.

Change source from TV to input jacks.

The remote has no such button.

And I don't see a physical switch on the TV box that has the input jacks.

They sure didn't make it easy to select a different input on my model!

Might you have any other suggestions?

Are you only using the hook to catch the key to use for sending input?

I can think of a couple ways to grab input without the hook. Maybe you can run through the virtual key list with GetAsyncKeyState() and flag what's pressed. From there you can just build your list of keys to mash and fire them off with SendInput(). Some food for thought, probably get you out of AV flag territory.
