Windows 10: Is there a way to TOTALLY get rid of old useraccount name?

I successfully changed the name of the user folder and the user account so my name no longer pops up at startup, etc. I noticed in the properties of a downloaded file, however, that my name is still used by the system. See attached image. So this is likely the source of the system finding the name. Is there a way to change it? I'm older than dirt and anticipate that this computer will go to someone else in the not too distant future. I've tried to set it up so that all my personal files are on a portable hard drive and so that the new user will have access to all my programs without need to do

There are several ways that you can do to remove a user account on your computer. Aside from the steps above, you can also remove defaultuser0 by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R and type netplwiz press
  Enter.
• Select defaultuser0 and click the Remove button.

Once you are done with the steps, get back to us with the results.

 

Deleting old pc name from network

Have an additional problem. For some reason, our "HomeNetwork" lists one of our pc's twice - under 2 different names. Both pc names work, in that I can access the desired pc by "clicking" on either name. I'm ok with it, but I'd really like to get rid of
one of the entries. Do you - or any colleagues - have a suggestion to help me do so?

Old Owner Name

I bought a used Axim. I changed the Device ID in Settings -> System ->

About. I changed the owner name in Settings -> Personal -> Owner Info.

But when I use Send To on a Windows 7 "desktop", the option for my

Axim lists the old owner's name. Not a major problem, but definitely

annoying. I couldn't find that name in the registry (on the Axim).

Can anyone suggest another place to look?
