    Is there a way to use the middle click as touch input?


    Obligatory I've tried searching for this but all I find is the opposite (emulating middle click with touch gestures).

    What I need is for windows to recognize my middle click as a finger touch, so I can take advantage of some touch-only gestures when not using a touch screen. Currently the only use I have for the middle click is opening links in a new tab, but that can also be done by ctrl+click so I won't miss it.

    How to launch tablet Pc touch input from command line

    Hello,

    From versions of Windows 7 and above it is possible to automatically launch Touchscreen calibration using Tabcal.exe.

    I was wondering if there is a similar command to directly launch touch input instead of following inf the steps below:

    • Go to Control Panel and search for "Touch".
    • Click "Tablet PC Settings"
    • Click "Setup..." to the right of "Configure your pen and touch displays"
    • Choose "Touch Input..."

    Lenovo x201 touch input and pen input conflict

    Hi Maliq,

    Disabling and re-enabling the touch and pen input driver might resolve this issue for you. Here are the steps:

    1. Select the search box in the taskbar, enter device manager, and then select
      Device Manager in the search results.
    2. Select the arrow to the left of Human Interface Devices.
    3. Right-click HID-compliant touch screen, and then select
      Disable      .
    4. Right-click HID-compliant touch screen, and then select
      Enable      .

    I would like to suggest the steps mentioned below to enable touch in Lenovo think pad. Please perform the steps and check if you can enable your touch screen.

    Steps:


    • Right click on the Start Menu, locate and click on
      Control Panel.

    • Click on View by: Category and change it into
      Large or Small Icons.

    • Click on Pen and Touch, once there click on the Touch tab and check the option
      “Use your finger as Input Device”.
