Windows 10: is there an app for windows 10 to automatically connect to wireless display?

Hi,


I'm able to connect to a wireless display, windows 10 on a Surface tablet.


I'd like to be able to detect and automatically connect whenever the wireless display is made available, similar to how a wireless network is automatically connected

How to Make Windows 10 Display Wireless Connections' Details?

I've noticed that in Windows 10, under the Wireless Connection List, when you place the mouse cursor on a (any) wireless connection listed, it does not display the connection's details.

In Windows 7 it automatically displays the details of any wireless connection detected and listed when you hover the mouse cursor to a wireless connection, including its Name, Signal Strength, Security Type, Radio Type, SSID.

Does anyone know how to make Windows 10 do the same? Many thanks.

 

Windows Wireless Display Adapter-not connecting anymore

Did you notice any changes on your PC prior to the issue? I suggest that you follow the steps outlined in this support article:
Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

Since updating drivers did not work, in addition, you can try to reset the Wireless Adapter.

1. On the adapter, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
2. When the message " Ready to connect "shows, open the
   Action Center.
3. Select Connect, and in the list of displays, select
   Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.
