  2. Query on Product key of existing Win 7 and Win 10

    Thanks for the explanation Is there an existing WIN App that can test my existing WIN 10 OS for full 100% functionality? :)

    A small query once the up-gradation is done via ISO image, can I use the same ISO to install to multiple computers? In that case how to tackle with product key ?

    Is it like all the computers which is trying to get upgraded to Win 10 should possess a genuine license of Win 7/8/8.1 so that when up-gradation happens it will automatically take up the Product key of the existing OS.

    Win 10 clean install on existing/added partition

    To begin this saga, following is a list of the current configuration of my computer drives:

    C:/ TI10697500B (Hard drive -478 GB First Partition)

    D:/ ExendedtPartition (458 GB)

    E:/ DVD RW drive

    F:/ ESD-USB (SDHC card)

    F:\autorun.inf autorun.inf

    F:\boot boot

    F:\bootmgr bootmgr

    F:\bootmgr.efi bootmgr.efi

    F:\efi efi

    F:\MediaMeta.xml MEDIAM~1.XML

    F:\setup.exe setup.exe

    F:\sources sources

    F:\support support

    F:\System Volume Information SYSTEM~1

    History: Wanted to upgrade my Win 7 computer to Win 10, but keep my existing 7 OS (to have a dual-boot situation) Using Paragon Partition Mgr, created a second partition (call it "D") Then proceeded to download the necessary files to up-grade to Win
    10. Here is where I went wrong (thinking that when I up-graded to the 10 OS, I could install it on my "D" partition = WRONG!! Went thru the entire upgrade process only to discover that the install completely replaced the Win 7 OS. Out of panicked ignorance,
    not wanting to lose my precious Win 7 OS, proceeded to re-install 7 using recovery disks created when I bought the new computer. So here I am now: (don't remember if, when I had, for a short time, the 10 OS , I activated it. (probably did cause I test-drove
    the Win 10 sys for a few hours before recovering Win 7 and over-writing the Win 10 OS. I've gone thru the entire process of downloading the files to clean install Win 10. I now have several files installed at the front of "D", and are as follows:

    D:\$RECYCLE.BIN;

    D:\JIMKEIL-PC;

    D:\MediaID.bin;

    D:\msdia80.dll;

    D:\Recovery;

    D:\System Volume Information;

    D:\WindowsImageBackup

    These files were installed by executing the set-up file on the card (Drive "F") to which was DL'ed the Win 10 install files.

    Where do I go from here--I know there has to be a "Boot" situation in this equation; then where and how to execute the Win 10 set-up; and where are those files?

    I'm hopelessly stuck! Thanks to anybody who will take the timeto read this and respond!!

    Is there an existing WIN App that can test my existing WIN 10 OS for full 100% functionality?

    win 10 no longer opens new app/window on top of existing

    Recently upgrade to new PC with Win 10 I now find the OS no longer open a new window on top of any others that are open

    They open but are in the background and I then need to close or minimise or move the window that has the focus

    This has only begun to be an issue after several weeks of use of new WIN10 It was not an issue or problem for me when I added s/ware I want

    Any ideas on how I can resolve this to have OS open an app or window on top of any or all of the existing open windows

    TIA
