Hey, I have a question. How can I install a Nvidia driver on my laptop? And what are the steps?

NVIDIA Presents Support for Windows 7 DirectX Compute

This is a good step in the right direction for Nvidia. However, I'd like to see them take the extra step to OpenCL.

CUDA -> Proprietary to Nvidia, but multiplatform
DirectX Compute -> Runs on more than Nvidia hardware, but Windows only
OpenCL -> Runs on hardware from all major players, and platform independent.

I suggest you to follow the below method and check if it helps:

Method 1 uninstall the
Nvidia drivers and check if it helps.

Step 1: uninstall the Nvidia Driver drivers.

a. Press Windows + X, Click Device
Manager.

b. Expand Display Adapters.

c. Check if the name of the graphic card is the list.

d. Right click on it and click uninstall.

e. Once you uninstall the drivers it will prompt to restart the computer, do not restart the computer.

f. It will take default drivers in the computer.

Step 2: Reinstall the drivers.

Please download the drivers from the computer Manufacturer’s website and reinstall the drivers.

Method 1:
This issue might be occurring due to the incompatibility of the
Nvidia graphics card driver with the new OS. So I Suggest to uninstall the graphics card driver and install the latest driver from the manufacturer website and check and then try to upgrade.
