Windows 10: Is there any command or procedure to undo / revert all the changes done in winsock by "...

i'm using ubuntu wsl and suddenly there is an error triggered within it, in order to fix it I've run " netsh winsock reset " command now it is throwing this " A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. " i think reverting back the changed settings within winsock can help me rerun my ubuntu wsl in normal manner

Help undoing these commands entered at command prompt

Most of the Windows defender settings are easy configurable by commands in powershell
Start powershell by clicking on Start and type powershell, click on it to run
type

You'll get a list like the one below. You can change any of it by typing (example for PUAprotection:

Check my list and set it to fix your changes (names in reg entries are the same)
Another option is to download app named ConfigureDefender which has Defaults to restore

How to change my home page back.

I don't think you are. I just did those steps on mine. Changed from Google to Bing, click Home button and it went to Bing. Changed it back to Google, click Home and it went to Google. Norton must have something jammed in there like a fishhook. I don't do Norton, so you're back to Josey's suggestions.
