    Is there any ISO for Windows 11 Development environment Hyper-v images


    Recently I tried Windows 11 development environment in Hyper-V. It's look like good VM to use daily. I see Microsoft is updating it time by time. Is there a way I can use it to replace my main OS.I want to either boot my VM without parent OS, so I can utilize the whole RAM. or I can install my computer's OS from this vhdx file. Is there any possible way I can do it?.

    Windows 10 dev environment on Hyper-v

    Hi, I am trying to install Windows 10 developer environment on virtual machine using Hyper-v quick create tool. As the tool already offers the Windows 10 developer environment.

    My question is the environment only available for a limited period of time? The only relevant link I found is on this link: Download a Windows virtual machine - Windows app development

    which says that it's only available until 24th December 2018. Does anyone knows if the hyper-v installation has the same license or is it free on virtual machines?

    Hi Geoffrey,

    Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
    Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

    To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

    • On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
      Enter.
    • Look for the Hyper-V folder.
    • Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
      OK.
    • Restart your PC.

    Even after Uninstalling Hyper-V - msinfo32 shows "A hypervisor has been detected"

    Hi,

    To address your concern, we suggest that you disable the Hyper V services. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Type Services on the search bar.
    • Right click one Hyper V service, then select Properties.
    • On Startup type, choose Disabled.

    • You have to disable all the Hyper V services one at a time by following the same steps.
