    Is there any kind of automation for Microsoft Family Safety?


    My kids homeschool and use their laptops extensively. While scheduling screen time does exist in MSF, I was wondering if there's an API or some other way of automating functions. For example, my kids' access to what they want is conditional based on when they finish school for the day, so everything at some point I need to: Enable 3-4 websites for streaming/games. Enable several applications that they can now play if they want to. X2 per kidThen, at night, I need to reset it all so that when it's time for school again, they can't do any of the above again until school is over for the day.

    Before we proceed, we require more information to assist you better.

    • Which web browser are you using?
    • Are the settings on the Family Safety options on your computer are the same with the one on
      http://familysafety.live.com?


    I suggest you to login with your parental account and check if you are able to manage the family settings.



    If the issue still persist, it might appears that the Child account is not configure correctly. I suggest you to remove the Family Safety and configure it again.

    How do I remove Family Safety?

    Now, setup Family Safety.

    After creating the child account, you can then go to the Family Safety website, login using the parent account and then manage your child's restrictions and monitoring options.
