Windows 10: Is there any know issues between the Photos app and the Windows Photo Gallery?

It has happened again in less than a month. Windows Photo Gallery and the Photos app were the two programs I was using at the time. The result is when I try to load photos that were edited in the Photos app to Windows Photo Gallery, then to Windows movie maker, movie maker says it cannot read some of the files and I am now unable to put tags in the properties of videos. I can do this on another PC.Secondly, when I try to do an in place Windows 10 repair, I cannot because it sees an occurrence of VirtualBox, which I did not install. I spent hours a month ago finding and remove any signs of

we're almost there...yes!!
windows 2012 essential, installed all correctly, it is now found in my program & features. I wasn't sure what the next step would be. But i did check to see if Photo Gallery would work, but i received these errors which i have attached. I also attempted to download the file that was needed which i chose the first one, but after reading the details and OS requirement i was unsure if it.

You know something ? You are right.
I just went to install Windows Essentials and I was not asked to install the netframework anymore.
However, installation went through without any trouble.
