    Is there any possible way for multiple people to access a remote desktop?


    I work at a company where all of our work is done through remote desktops. The biggest drawback, however, is that only 1 person can use the remote desktop at a time. So everyone else can only sit idle and wait for their turn, and this really exacerbates each employee's efficiency and deliveries. Is there any way we can have multiple people accessing the remote desktop, and doing their respective work?

    Remote Access - Multiple People

    With most offices I handle remote access via Remote Desktop Connection thru their 2008 or 2012 Server.

    I have two small office that use a Windows 10 computer for file sharing. More than adequate for the file sharing and simple database they are using. Now their are mobile users (2-3) that need to access the file shares.

    How can I do this without buying a server with MS Server 2012 and using RDC? We were using a desktop with a remote access software package on it but that has become a problem with multiple users.

    Please help me with the below details to understand your issue in a better way:



    1. Are you using the Microsoft remote desktop app?


    If you are using the Microsoft remote desktop app downloaded from
    Microsoft store then, I suggest you to follow the steps to
    fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store    .



    If the issue still persists with the Microsoft remote desktop app, then you can contact the support team by going to the

    link     and scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on
    Microsoft remote desktop support under the Publisher info.



    However, if you are using the Remote desktop connection, which comes pre-installed with Windows 10, then I suggest you to please post your question in the
    TechNet forum.

    Does Windows 10 REALLY NOT support Remote Desktop? Only a couple days ago I could have accessed my Remote Desktop; now I can't. Microsoft is saying that Windows
    10 does not support Remote Desktop and is suggesting an upgrade that costs over $300.00. REALLY?
