Windows 10: Is there any resolution or workaround for the issue caused by Windows update KB5011048?

Hi, currently, we are looking onto an exception from DevExpress caused by Windows update KB5011048. In Windows 10, your device is always kept up to date with the latest features and fixes. Updates and drivers are installed automatically, with no need to select which updates are needed or not needed. In rare cases, a specific
driver or update might temporarily cause issues with your device.

Kindly try the below steps and check.

I suggest you to update the Display Adapter Drivers

Step 1: Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

Step 2: Please follow the below steps to change the resolution of the screen and check:

• Type Change screen resolution in the
  Search box from the desktop.
• Under Resolution search for the Recommended resolution and click on
  Apply.
• A windows pops up saying "Keep these display settings", then select
  Keep changes.

FSX wont open with Windows 10 update, requires min display resolution

This issue might have caused due to Graphics card driver related issues. I would like to know the make and model of the computer so that we could assist you further.

I suggest you to try installing the latest Graphics card drivers from the computer manufacturer's website or from Windows Update and check if it helps. This is to check if this is caused due to driver related issue.

Follow the steps to update the Video card driver:

• 
  Press Windows + X
  keys and click on Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Graphics card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
  

Once after installing the latest Graphics card drivers try changing the screen resolution to the highest and check.

Follow the steps to adjust the screen resolution:

• 
  Right click on the desktop and click on Screen Resolution.
  
• 
  Adjust the resolution to the highest.

I would like to inform that, there will be a recommended resolution for all the computers, and if you select more than the recommended resolution the screen would not support for that.
