Windows 10: Is there any to copy basic settings from Win 10 desktop to new Win 10 laptop?

This seems like a silly question, but is there any way I can copy the basics from my Win 10 desktop to a new laptop? Both are Win 10 Pro/64. I am referring to colors, background, Windows Explorer settings, etc. Also on the laptop, my user folder is just "user" instead of my name. I know I have to copy files and do new install of programs, but there are a lot of differences which make me uncomfortable and which I am laboriously trying to correct. Interesting that it works on that oldie but goody laptop.

I don't notice any speed lags with Win-10 TP, but I'm using it on an i5-4670K system with an SSD for the boot drive, so it's snappy.

 

Fresh Install of Win 10 without Serial Key?

Looking to reformat a laptops HDD, and then reinstall Win 10 fresh. The problem is it came pre-installed with Win 8 and I did the free upgrade to Win 10. How exactly would I re-format the HDD, reinstall Win 10 and ensure it reactivates properly? I don't see a Win 8 serial key anywhere in the contents of the box.
