Windows 10: Is there any way I could go back to my previous desktop and file arrangement? the one...

I accidentally picked PC usage option as development in a setup during an update I blame my curiosity to explore. That action made my entire system to rearrange. It pulled my files and other folder out into thye desktop and now I am facing issue with finding my important files. Is there any way I could go back to my previous desktop and file arrangement? the one before the update?

• Right-click on your desktop > Click View.

Note: If you want to manually arrange your desktop icons uncheck Auto arrange icons
then drag your icons depending on where you want to place them on your desktop. If you want your icons to be aligned to the grid, check
Align icons to grid.

a) Right click on Desktop.

b) Click on View.

c) Uncheck both "Arrange icons to grid" and "Auto arrange icons".

d) Restart the computer and check if it helps.
