Windows 10: Is there any way of getting the auto-hidden Taskbar not to appear because the mouse cursor...

Didn't they notice this problem? I don't want to see that Taskbar unless I really need to and if so I can hit the Windows key. Very simple. There must be a way of stopping the mouse cursor from activating that thing. I've tried it on the top and bottom. Either way my mouse cursor hits it so many times each day. So distracting. It totally interrupts your flow.

Auto-hide taskbar problem

I have my taskbar set to auto-hide. It is a great feature. More recently, however, the taskbar would get stuck in the "hidden" mode. I'll navigate my cursor to the bottom of the screen (where the taskbar is hidden), and sometimes it won't show itself; like
it's stuck. Is there a way to fix this?

Task bar will not auto-hide and auto-hide is selected in its ‘Properties’?
If you click the ‘show hidden icons’, allow it to pop-up then move your cursor away from the pop-up, the show hidden (SH) will, in a couple seconds, auto hide however the task bar will not auto hide until you re-select the (SH) then move the
mouse away from the (SH) click the mouse to dismiss the (SH) then the taskbar will auto-hide again. If one of the hidden icons has a message for you, that message has to be satisfied prior to the taskbar returning to its hidden state.

2. Enable the Auto-hide taskbar option in desktop mode. The taskbar will be hidden automatically.

Note: The taskbar will appear when the cursor moves to the bottom of the screen and will disappear when the cursor moves away
