Windows 10: Is there any way to add items to Sony Walkman mp3 player using Windows 10?

Hello. I have a Sony Walkman mp3 player. Up until Windows 10, I had no problem syncing the device with the computer and adding or transferring files. But now, the computer won't even recognize the mp3 player. I plug the mp3 player in and as far as my computer is concerned, the mp3 player doesn't exist. Windows Media Player similarly doesn't recognize the existence of this device.


I realize this mp3 player is an out-of-date object, but it's still extremely convenient and I still use it regularly.

sony walkman player not being read by my windows 10 64 bit computer

my windows 10-64 bit computer is not reading my sony Walkman player. i see where this problem is listed for windows 7, but not for windows 10. will the windows 7 solution work as well for the windows 10?

 

system no longer recognizes Sony MP3 player, code 19 error


My Sony Walkman is NWZ-E344, I have a Common Setting file but no USB Connection option. This unit automatically connects via USB. My HP laptop recognizes and connects automatically so it is not an MP3 player problem. The Screen on the Walkman indicates a USB connection when connected to either computer.
Thanks for the idea though, every lead brings me closer to a solution.

Sony has launched an mp3 player that is completely waterproof. Sony's NWZ-W270 mp3 player is available for purchase in the US electronics stores from this January. Just recently Sony has promoted their new MP3 player in New Zealand. The device originally launched during CES 2013. Sony has teamed up with a marketing company in Auckland called DraftFCB that renamed the NWZ-W270 mp3 player to the 'The Bottled Walkman'. The reason for the new name is none other than the mp3 player is sold in a bottle of water. The Bottled Walkman can be purchased from vending machines at gyms and in other public places. The Mp3 player has a total of 4GB of memory for storing plenty of songs. The device also supports handy features like drag and drop music transfers and has a quick charge function which can be used to power up fast before hitting the gym. The quick charge function will give you 60 minutes of playback after three minutes on charge. The price of 'The Bottled Walkman' is 100$.

What do you guys think about this product?

I personally think it's a cool and innovative product but I never had a problem with an mp3 player not being water proof, and the price is a bit much seeing that a simple mp3 player with similar specs can be bought for under 50$ . I had the problem that most of them I used simply fall out of the ears while running. Tried earbuds but the ones I tried either are uncomfortable or they constantly fall out of my ears.
