Windows 10: Is there any way to download the original drivers for my device other than third party websites

I upgraded my audio drivers with an app not mentioning the app, and it make my audio go nuts. My audio process just went up in cpu every so often for no reason, and if im playing a high cpu game, it will lagged, and my keyboard would become unresponsive because of it, and the audio just cuts off. Even whiles im writing this it happened and my keyboard would acted weird. I tried system scans, disabling enhancements, uninstalling Equalizer APO from Realtek HDA, and uninstalling the driver but the problem still persist. I can't roll back my drivers using the app, System Restore, and Device Mana

Should I get all drivers from third-party websites or Windows to do it?

Several questions are being asked here, I'll try to answer them all in proper order.

You should look yourself for drivers on the manufacturers' websites. This way, you are guaranteed to get the most updated drivers for your devices. Allowing Windows Update to install drivers is a risk, and I would not recommend it unless the peripheral did not work and there were no other options available. It has happened (to me, to people I know, to users of this website) that Windows Update installed a driver and the system became unbootable or unstable.

Yes. Windows itself includes some drivers that do not have to be downloaded from Windows Update. Take as an example the drivers that get installed automatically whenever you insert a USB storage stick.

It is not necessary, but desirable: it warrants you get the latest drivers and all available fixes and performance improvements. Third-party website should mean the pc or perpheral manufacturer's website, and not just any website offering drivers for download.

 

Can not figure out how to download a driver at a Manufacturer"s website.

I know the Manufacturer-Broadcom.

I know my driver that I need-Broadcom 57xx Gigabit Controller Adapter. I lost my Internet and must have this driver.

I cannot for the life of me understand how to go in and find the driver. A tech gave me a link and it took me back to the same website.

There is no clear name of the driver listed, and there seems to be no understandable way to click any "download".

The website is extremely confusing to use.

Can someone please go to www.broadcom.com and please tell me how to download the driver listed above on line two?

I spent 2 hours finding out that Dell does not support any Optiplex 745 drivers in Windows 10, so this driver must come from Broadcom.

I need someone to step by step tell me how to get the driver from this site. THANKS!

 

Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.
