"We could not change your password We're sorry, but we cannot change your password at this time. Unfortunately, this is due to an unrecoverable issue with your account configuration, so trying again won't work. Please contact your admin to change your password for you"Unfortunately this is confusing because the password does change but user stops because the receive this message and ultimately lock them selves out. I was told message could be for various reasons for example password does not meet complexity, part of password has been used recently, it is the same/similar to cached password et

  2. Changing User Accounts Password

    Hi Eddy,

If you are an Admin user for your Windows 10 device, it’s still possible to change another user’s password. To perform the said task, follow these steps:

    • Simultaneously press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
    • Once accessed, type netplwiz and hit
      Enter.
    • Select the user and choose Reset password.
    • Change it to your preferred password.

Once done, you may close the window and try to use the new password for the account.

Don’t hesitate to give us updates on your query.

AIP: Selected user account does not exist in tenant...

I am getting this error when I open an office document.

Selected user account does not exist in tenant '*****' and cannot access the application 'c00e9*******7db99' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account.

I have a corporate Office365 account associated with an AAD to which my laptop is joined.

I am also 'in' a whole load of other O365 tenants, both as a fully licensed user and as a guest.

How do I go about finding which AAD this AIP prompt is coming from? Right now I have not idea which admin I need to talk to to find out whats going on.

If is correct that this must be associated with the tenant listed in the error message? Or is it simply providing that one because it is the default?

Is it prompting me to log into AIP because an AAD is configured to do so, or is this a local machine/office-install configuration?
