    Is there any way to show all running apps in task view across two monitors?


    When I open task view, it shows the running apps on one monitor, and it shows the other running apps on my second screen. I want to display all apps on both screens in task view, so when I select any running app, it will automatically switch to that screen, rather than having to move it from one screen to another. Currently for example, word and excel are running on screen 1, and edge on screen 2. If I open task view, it will show word and excel on 1, and edge on 2.I want to open the task view and on both monitors, see all 3 programmes, then when I select Word on screen 2, it automatically mov

    To understand the issue better, I would need more information from your end.

    • What happens when you open task view from task bar?
    • Are you able to switch between all of your open apps on multiple desktops?

    Are you trying to disable task view feature in Windows 10? If yes, please try these steps.

    a. Right-click on task bar.

    b. Uncheck show task view button.

    It's the Task View, not the Task Bar, that is the problem. I should be getting the popup (right clicking on Task View) showing the options for additional Desktops, not the five options for the Task Bar. A 'chat' with MS Solutions said that I should reinstall
    Windows 10 to MAYBE correct this problem. Any suggestions to correct?? Thanks for your interest...I really appreciate it.
    The Task View is the only feature that I may like on 10!!

    Is there any way to show all running apps in task view across two monitors?

    Open app in cmd in specific task view

    At startup, I already have 3 task views opened.
    So I want .bat file to start my apps and I want it to be opened on a specific task view.

    But if it is not possible on .bat, I'll look into powershell as suggested.
