  1. Is there any way to snap a program to the left and right of the screen at the same time?

So I have a dual monitor setup, and if I leave my computer idle and it goes to sleep on its own, the programs on my secondary monitor go back to my primary. This wouldn't be too big of a problem, but the programs also resize once they're on my primary monitor, so I have to reposition them on my second monitor every time.

I recently found out about the hotkeys to snap to left side of screen/right side with Win + Arrow Keys, but I haven't found a way to make a program snap to the left and right side of my second monitor without going full screen (Win + Up). Am I missing something, or is there no way to use a combination of snap left and snap right?

  3. IE 11 Set where new window open on the screen (i.e. always snapped right side)

    Hi,

You can actually arrange your windows in a snap. Snap Assist
is a way to effortlessly arranging your windows on the desktop just the way you want them.

    1. Launch your internet browser and the application you use to view your PDF files.

    2. Click on your browser's window to make it active.

    3. Snap it to the left side of the screen by pressing
    Windows key + Left arrow.

Thumbnails of the other opened windows will appear in the free space of your desktop. Click on the thumbnail of your PDF application, and that window will snap to the right side of the screen.

    Other keyboard shortcuts:

    • Windows key + Right arrow - Will snap the current active window to the left side of the screen.
    • Windows key + Up arrow - Will snap the window to the top quarter of the screen.
    • Windows key + Down arrow - Will snap the window to the bottom quarter of the screen.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Is there any way to snap a program to the left and right of the screen at the same time?

Windows 10: Automatically open a folder window to the left or right side of a screen in File Explorer without having to manually snap windows with Snap Assist

When I open a folder window in File Explorer, I want it to automatically snap to the left or right side of my screen. And when I open a second folder, I want it to snap to the opposite side of the screen. I don't want to have to drag a folder window to the
left or right. And I don't want to use Windows Key + Left Arrow
or Windows Key + Right Arrow to snap that
folder window to the left or
    right side of my screen.

Windows 10 places a folder window in some random location on my screen when I open it. It's very annoying because 90% of the time, I have have to manually snap it to the left or right with a keyboard
shortcut. I have a laptop screen so screen management is important.

    I couldn't find a solution anywhere.
