Windows 10: Is there currently a free program that I can use to edit my old Netscape Composer web pages?

For many years, I used Netscape Composer to build/edit my website. Is there currently a free program that is compatible, so that I can edit my web pages done with Netscape Composer? Also, I already have a web hosting service that I want to continue using. Thanks!

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Did you minimize the tabs before opening the current page/window?
• Does the issue occur even when the tabs are not minimized and you try to get to the previously browsed page/window?

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when trying to switch from currently browsing page/window to the previously browsed page/window is not minimized. To do so follow the steps below:

• Open a web page/app window on the desktop and open another program on the page while retaining the previously opened page in the background.
• Minimize the current page you are at and check if the previously opened web page/app window is accessible. You can also press
  Alt + Tab keys on the keyboard and check if you are able to access the previously accessed web page/app window.

AOL Pulls Plug on Netscape Web Browser

Netscape Navigator, the world's first commercial Web browser once used in 80 percent of all Internet sessions, will be pulled off life support Feb. 1 after a 13-year run. Its current caretakers, Time Warner Inc.'s AOL, decided to kill further development and technical support to focus on growing the company as an advertising business. America Online Inc. paid $9.8 billion in 1999 for Netscape and after almost nine-years of efforts to revive Netscape, the browser will be killed once and for all.

Netscape Director Tom Drapeau wrote in a blog entry Friday. People will still be able to download and use the Netscape browser indefinitely, but AOL will stop releasing security and other updates on Feb. 1. Drapeau recommended that Netscape users should shift to Firefox instead. A separate Netscape Web portal will continue to operate.

Opening web pages in Windows 10

Which web browser are you using?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

• Open the Web page.
• Click on Gear icon at the top right corner.
• Click on File and select Save as
• You can save in different format.
• Open file Explorer select and right click on web page which is saved in File Explorer.
  
• Select open with and Select WordPad or notepad.
• There you will be able to Edit .
