Windows 10: Is there going to be a fix for Windows Hello no longer using IR for facial recognition?

Hi, I have a Tobii eye tracker. One of the great bonuses is being able to use Windows Hello. However, since a recent Windows update it now uses visible light, so in a dim room it can't recognize me. Windows Hello facial recognition not accessing the IR camera

Reccently windows hello has stopped activating the IR camera when setting up facial recognition and when signing in. The normal camera activates (green light) but the IR camera does not (blinking red light). This has happened before and what I did to fix it was uninstalling the Facial Recognition under optional features and reinstalling it. This worked for a time but now I am experiencing the same issue and that fix does not work. This makes it so Windows Hello Face does not work in low light conditions and it is quite annoying. In device manager the Facial Recognition (Windows Hello) Software Device has this error in events:

Windows 10 Hello facial recognition feature

Sounds like a driver issue with the camera: MS requires special IR (infrared) capabilities from cameras for Windows Hello facial recognition to work. You should visit the HP support pages, and make sure you've got the right driver installed for facial recognition.
