Is this a bug or is it "nagware"?

Lately, I've been getting this annoying popup on my desktop computer: I select "No thanks" but I get the same popup EVERY DAY! I hope this is a bug and not an annoying tactic to get me to enable something I don't want. I turned off "News and interests" on my taskbar for a reason. I don't want it. I uninstalled the Weather app that came preinstalled on my computer. I even opened "News and interests" just so I can go into the settings and turn off all Weather notifications. On the taskbar settings for "News and interests" I checked the option to Reduce taskbar updates. And yet... I'm still bein

    Windows 10 Upgrade NAGWARE

Am not interested in upgrading to Windows 10 - currently am running Windows 7. Have tried the suggested fix to eliminate NAGWARE - has returned. Other than moving to XUBUNTU - a far better and secure OS - any suggestions?

  3. Credential Nagware

It seems that Windows 10 in more and more nagware, it costs me $ every time it wants me to verify my credentials. Over and over.

That coerces a mobile phone expense which means this bleeds $ from my account, and I am tired of this nonsense. Windows is activated, what more does MSFT want?

It also abusive that email accounts all want this **** as well, is MSFT going to pay my phone bill? It's not secure at all, it's simple abusive.

    My advice, cease and desist.

I suggest you to give your feedback about the bug in the feedback app.

To do so you can follow this below steps:

search box of Windows 10 system.

    • From the search results shown, select the option for Windows Feedback app and launch it.

    • As a mandatory step, please check the existing Windows 10 feedback reports and bug reports to make sure your identified issue or bug is not already present in them.

    • If your bug or feedback is already mentioned by someone else, you can click on the “Me too” option which informs Microsoft that even you have faced similar issue / bug.

    • In case of a new bug, feel elated that you found one and using the “New Feedback” option specify the relevant details clearly (possibly by making use of some screenshots for clarity).

have reported the same using this Feedback app.

    Thanks.
