    Is this fraud alert telephone number 1-855-379-8100 valid? My other laptop was shut down...


    I received a fraud alert and this number was reported to be a microsoft number: 1-855-379-8100. Is it a real microsoft number or a scam?

    Windows Warning Alert

    My son's notebook has a Windows Warning Alert and the machine is locked. The phone number listed to call is 1-855-371-9444. Is this warning real or this a scam associated with malware?

    It's easy enough to find out ... put the number into the search engine of your choice - mine is Google - and you'll quickly find out if the number belongs to Microsoft.

    Is 1-855-485-2941 a legit Microsoft number?

    My laptop has shut me out. Message from supposed Microsoft says my laptop has a Critical Threat Detected: Trojan Horse Spyware. Access to my computer has been blocked for security reasons. Says to contact support immediately to resolve issue. Says " Microsoft Helpline: 1-855-485-2941"

    Is this legit,?? I can't use my laptop at all because of this
