Windows 10: Is this hardware failure?

Following clean-ups of my C drive, Windows suddenly began acting hostile towards my management and restricted nearly everything.I cannot access my desktop, not my harddrives, not the startup menu, my admin rights were revoked and I can't even access regular settings.I tried advanced options with several reboots, tried safe booting, tried typing so many commands in cmd without any success, stating that I need administrative powers to SFC scan. And to get access to SFC scans you need to run cmd as an admin, which is impossible at this level, I gave up trying to figure it out myself.Please help m

Standard Hardware Security not supported

Hi Paul,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to run hardware troubleshooter and let us know if that helps.

Type "Troubleshooting" in the
Windows Search bar and press Enter.

1. Click on "View All" in the top left corner.
2. This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.

Also I would suggest to check if there are any update pending with regard to drivers and to do so, please follow steps mentioned below.

1. Search for Device Manager in
   Windows search bar.
2. Click on Device Manager.
3. Check if there Yellow Exclamation Point in the list of drivers.

Make sure Windows is up to date.

Windows 10 Creators Update problem

Hello Felix,

One of the possible reasons why you're USB and SHDC ports aren't working is due to hardware failure. We suggest that you run the Hardware troubleshooter. Follow the steps below:

• Type Hardware troubleshooter in the search box > Select
  Hardware and Sound.
• Select Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Keep us updated with the result.

 

Safely remove hardware failure.

Thank you @Bree and @Compumind - I have tried all of the suggestions provided by both of you and no luck so far.

I will point out this; though I do not know if it has any significance and it was not doing this before.

Take note of the differences between the next two pictures as the icon moves when trying to eject hardware:










Also, there is a little white blip that occurs in the task bar position just before it tries to eject and then the ejection icon switches its position in the task bar.

It never did that before either.
