Windows 10: is this processor compatible with windows 11 IntelR CoreTM i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz

I am using a Dell Desktop, 64 bit, 16 GB of Ram my processor is an IntelR CoreTM i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHzis this compatible to upgrade to windows 11?

PC Health check says my "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz" is not compatible with Windows 11.

Will Windows 11 support this processor in the near future? Why are older/lower performing processors supported?

 

i7-7700 CPU with 3.60 GHZ not supported??

I have i7-7700 CPU with 3.60 GHZ. PC Health Check app checks all the requirements as compatible, but fails with CPU not supported. Is this CPU number a miss from the list? I see many other i7 (7800X, 8700, 9700) as supported. Wondering why 7700 is left out from the list.

I already reviewed the list of intel supported processors for Windows 11 and used the feedback hub.

I was just looking for information on why the i7-7700 CPU's are not compatible with Windows 11, or is it still being tested.
