    Insider builds faing for 2 to 3 months

    The way I have worked with Insider Builds is to take regular images. This has stood me in good stead for years. However, I always delete the oldest image because of space. The one I really need now which was deleted as the oldest was build 170xx something
    or other. The fail occured at skip ahead build 17618. Build 17604 did not help, but the fast ring one would have worked. This is the first time my system has let me down - lesson learnt.

    I will persevere. It is a real challange. The feedback hub is only one way. They never answer queries.

    Insider builds faing for 2 to 3 months

    Hi GerardCon, you will need to reinstall Windows to fix this issue with a Windows Insider build. Be sure to have a backup of your PC before continuing. Download the Refresh Windows Tool from this page:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Click "Download tool now" then run the application. This will uninstall all of your applications then download the latest version of Windows 10. Because you are running a Windows Insider build, you may also have to delete your personal files then restore from
    backup after. The Refresh Windows Tool will tell you if it needs to delete your personal files to reinstall Windows.

    Let me know if you have any questions, and if this does not work, there are other steps you can try.
