Windows 10: Is time to preserve Windows history...

Ok, so Microsoft is going to destroy WordPad, right??Ok, so WordPad is the direct successor to Notepad and the precursor to Office Word; and Word has been used in countless works...So now you can see why WinPad is important in Windows history.But sadly, the 22H3 update hope I get that one well is going to remove it as said above.Any ideas to preserve it???

Clear Windows Security Center (Defender) Protection History

Did not work for me. After going through all steps I still have protection history full

 

IE11 History Not Being Preserved Across Windows 10 Pro Reboots

Hi,

It's possible that the Delete browsing history on exit option is enabled. We suggest that you check Internet Properties to verify this.

Here's how:

• Press Win+R to open Run.
• Type inetcpl.cpl, and then hit Enter.
• Under Browsing history, Delete browsing history on exit should not be checked.

Let us know how it turns out.

 

Clearing Windows Defender history

Hey, what you need to do is so simple, just follow the steps below exactly in order:

1. Turn OFF Real-time Protection
2. Turn OFF Cloud-delivered Protection
3. Go to this folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History\Service
4. Delete the contents in the folder
5. Turn ON Real-time Protection
6. Turn ON Cloud-delivered Protection

That's it... Now check protection History, it's empty.
