Windows 10: Is virtual RAM a good means

I am searching on the internet to find out about virtual ram. My laptop has an i3 6-gen processor with 250 SSD and 1024HDD + 4GB ram windows has around 5000MB virtual ram on its own can I extend it to more like 10GB? I want to know all the pros and cons regarding this. Please help regarding this

Not everyone disables virtual RAM and I don't recommend it either but for us that know more about IT we buy loads of RAM for our computers so we don't need to have virtual RAM.

MY PC HAS 2 GB RAM INSTALLED.

IT AUTOMATICALLY SETS 2 GB AS VIRTUAL RAM.

I SEE MY PC RAN SLOW

SO I SET VIRTUAL RAM TO 8 GB.

NOW PERFORMANCE JUST IMPROVED.

What is virtual ram??????

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
