Windows 10: Is windows 10 home Free to use?

Hey microsoft, I have a Daft question. My cousin's new desktop computer will arrive next week. It doesn't have an OS installed in it so he asked me to install one. I have a genuine and legit copy of Windows 10 OS. Well, as a matter of fact, windows 10 PRO requires license keys, so I will go for Windows 10 Home. Do I still need a license for it. I was told that it is free to use by some of my friends.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
