Windows 10: Is Windows 10 Home SL (Single Language) Edition still installed on new PCs?

I'm Italian and I'm thinking to buy a German laptop online.

I can deal with the German keyboard (maybe with some stickers on it) but should I worry about the chance that it could have Win10 SL installed and I couldn't choose the language? How can I (or rather, the seller) check if it's SL Edition or not?

What version of Windows did your PC have prior to installing windows 10 SL ???

Nevermind - New build...

Do you have a Retail Copy of Windows 7 or better ??? That you could transfer the Retail license to the new build ??

If so transfer the prior Retail OS to the new build and then upgrade for free to Windows 10..

How can I tell if I have a single language version of windows 10 or not?

When I check under system info it only mentions it is a home edition but I have spent a day trying and failing to install additional languages. (As in, I go to languages, add a new one, download it but when it gets to the installation step it just stops
without an error message).

So, will a single language version say 'Windows 10 SL Home'? Or is that information hidden?

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
