Windows 10: Is windows 11 pro linked to the Microsoft account it was purchased with?

I previously purchased windows 11 pro with my old microsoft account and was wondering if I unlinked my computer from the old account and linked it to my new microsoft account would that affect my windows 11 pro in any way?I also plan on deleting my old microsoft account.

Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro Upgrade (Digital License Linked with Microsoft Account)

Hi,

So i needed to reinstall windows on my SSD from HDD. I had the windows 11 Pro license linked digitally to my Microsoft account. I download the windows 11 multi-iso from microsoft's website but the edition that was installed on laptop was the home edition. It is activated but the problem is that I want to upgrade to Pro. I have the digital license of windows 11 Pro but when i click upgrade it directs me to windows store and ask's me to purchase the pro edition.

Please help.

Here's Microsoft's official steps to Upgrade Windows Home to Windows Pro (microsoft.com).

1. Select Start > Settings > System > Activation.
   
2. Under Upgrade your edition of Windows, select Open Store
   
3. Make sure you’re signed in with your Microsoft account to purchase Windows 11 Pro
   
4. After you confirm your purchase, you’ll be prompted to install Windows 11 Pro and restart your PC. You’ll then be running Windows 11 Pro.

Can I purchase windows 11 pro with my work account? If yes, I need full instructions on How to purchase windows 11 pro account using my work email as it is not signing or showing up in Microsoft app store.
