    Is Windows 1909 considered to be buggy?


    I’m running Win Home 1903 with all the latest patches/updates. Should I pause/delay before installing Windows 1909? I’ve heard that 1909 will likely be available with the Oct 2019 2nd Tues updates. Thx

    Hi Paul

    1909 will be most likely released the same as 1903, on a stepped release basis, users can choose to click the 'Update Now' button to get that update early, otherwise, when it is delivered by the normal Windows Update process, you will see a dialog on your screen
    asking you if you want to update now or later, you can choose the time to install that update . ..

    hi all:

    When 1909 comes out, it will be during patch Tuesday. I like to know is will it appear in the Windows update? Most likely that it will ask for a restart after finishing updating. Do I need to back up files, folders, etc? Will I have to reinstall apps after
    the update to 1909? How long will it take for the update to finish? Will I notice any differences when at 1909?
