Windows 10: ISO - keep or move ?

Discus and support ISO - keep or move ? in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've been using W10 in VMware since Oct and using Windows Updates to get the the latest builds.     ISO - keep or move ?


    I've been using W10 in VMware since Oct and using Windows Updates to get the the latest builds. I've now decided to start afresh and scrapped everything and d/loaded the ISO for 10130 which I'm now running in VMware. Am I correct in thinking that the ISO is now finished with and I can move it off my C drive or does VMware still need it for some reason ?

    Unable To Update Win10 v1607

    I tried it again as a mounted ISO and on a USB drive. The update keeps failing above 45% and the message was it could not move files (not specified). No KB reference or error code provided.

    Download iso keeps failing

    Thanks. Yeah I've tried it on Ubuntu, windows xp and windows 10. on two different PCs and in Opera, Chrome and Firefox.

    Most of them have been a direct download from Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File).

    I'll try the Tech bench link tonight.

    If it's already installed, you won't need it any further, except maybe to install supplementary files.. but 99.9% of people don't need that.
