Windows 10: Issue Kernel-Power Error 41 Code 278 NVIDIA Drivers

I've just finished do a building and after installing the GPU driver I have this issues.Currently I've try to change the PSU from a Gigabyte 1000W to a Seasonic 850W, this didn't fix the issue.I've managed to get the content of the MEMORY.DMP file from one of the crashes, this is flagging the nvidia driver as having the issue. I've try multiple nvidia drives with SAFEBOOT + DDU + Install driver. I do not run any OC on my build.My specs:CPU: Intel i7-13700kGPU: Gigabyte 4070 Windforce OCMB: EVGA Z690 ClassifiedPSU: Seasonic Focus GX 850WRAM: 2 x 16GB Sabrent DDR5 UDIMM 4800MHzWater Cooling: BeQ

I found something to do with sound drivers, the guy solved the error. Don't know if it helps but it might give you a clue.

Event 41 Kernel Power crash - bugcheck code 278

Hi,

I wonder if someone could help me resolve an issue that has been annoying me for some time now. My desktop computer (windows 10) is suddenly freezes and crash > restart. This behaviour started while gaming but weirdly happens when making music or using other software. After I read some articles about this crash (the Event Viewer shows this critical error as event 41 Kernel Power crash, bug check code 278) which indicate that the culprit might be the GPU - in my case GTX 1650, but I cannot resolve this at all. What I tried so far:

- updating nvidia drivers

- reinstall the nvidia drivers using DDU

- underclocking via afterburner (helped with gaming, but then a crash happens in other software which isn´t even GPU demanding.

- check overheating of GPU, not even close

- several other diagnostics and repairs via command prompt (don´t remember which)

Is there anyone who could help me to analyse this and propose some solutions? I am out of ideas...

1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
   
2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
   
3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?
   

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows
and check if that helps.
