Windows 10: ISSUE problem 43. for the gpu in device manager.

i did MULTIPLE fixes such as reinstalling everything from the audios, graphics drivers and etc. I did the registery edit. I changed the power supply cable still nothing. I know my pc isn’t the issue i believe because when i switch it out to a 580x amd GPU it works completely fine. My specs are amd ryzen 5 6 core processed 3.59 GHZ. and my gpu is a 3060ti i bought BRAND NEW unopened box from best buy. Someone please help!

Error 43 with my GPU

Hello carbonterry,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

Error 43 with a GPU usually indicates that there is a problem with the device driver.

For this problem, Microsoft has provided a relevant solution, please refer to Fix graphics device problems with error code 43 - Microsoft Support.

From the series of information you provided, it seems that you are using both GPUs at the same time, and you can try uninstalling the old graphics card driver to see if this problem persists.

1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
   
2. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and then select Uninstall.
   

If that still doesn't resolve the issue, go to Device Manager to disable discrete graphics or disable integrated graphics to see if the problem goes away.





You can also update your BIOS: Check if there is a BIOS update available for your computer and install it if there is. This can sometimes resolve issues with hardware components.

If these steps do not solve the problem, it is recommended that you test the hardware for problems.

Hi Ron,

As per the information, I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if your issue is rectified.

• Open Start, enter (or type) Device Manager, and select
  Device Manager from the list of results.
• Find your broken device in the list (it will often have a yellow exclamation point next to it).
• Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, select Uninstall, and select
  OK.
• At the top of the list of devices in Device Manager, right-click (or press and hold) the name of your PC, and select
  Scan for hardware changes. This reinstalls the device driver.
• To see if this fixed the problem, right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device and on the
  General tab, under Device status, you should see
  This device is working properly. If you don’t see this message, check the info that came with your device or contact the manufacturer.
