Windows 10: Issue with 4G slot on Win11 laptops

I have an issue with a few new Dell Laptops with Windows 11 Pro installed, they have a 4G Sim Slot which is working fine for normal web browsing, internet access, etc. However we use an app which connects to a server on the internet they can login ok but then the app shows an error "connection or network issue" and the support for this app have just said its a network issue and not the app after troubleshooting so they cannot assist. The bit making me think its the Windows OS setting blocking it is 4G simcard in a mobile tethered to the laptop connected via WiFi works fine so this rules out

Can I use Sim Card slot present in my laptop?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If there is a SIM card slot on your laptop that indicates that model of laptop may or may not have a 4G LTE chip (cellular radio) on the motherboard.

When purchasing a laptop that has SIM card capability, the Sim card slot will always exist, but to get that functionality is usually an extra option you must pay for when purchasing the laptop and the PC manufacturer then installs a 4G LTE chip on the motherboard.

I do not see that chip in your screenshot of the network section of Device Manager, that would be labelled a WWAN device, I only see Bluetooth, WiFi and Ethernet listed.

You will need to contact the laptop support on their website to check if you the 4G LTE chip is installed on your model and if not, if it is possible to fit that to the laptop.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
