Windows 10: Issue with Admin account on a Windows 11 pc. Cant change the Admin account, cant do...

Hello,Just purchased a new pc windows 11 and my young son rushed to set it up by creating a new MS email account as an admin. He put his age in and then the process was asking for parental control so he set another email account for providing the necessary approvals.Current Issue we have, we can only log on to the pc using his admin account. We can not de-register this account and we tried to reset to factory settings unsuccessfully requires window installation or recovery media which we dont have. All we did was just to cancel his admin email count but needs 30 days to be permanrly delet

visit safemode, log into admin account. download malwarebytes (or transfer from usb). run malwarebytes. exit safe mode. run an updated malwarebytes on admin account. eat some pie ;D

 

Hidden Admin Account Infected - Help

Somehow my windows 7 hidden admin account got infected. I cannot open regedit, task manager or any virus program.. in fact.. most programs wont work.. but my regular everyday account is fine.

The problem is this: I have been infected in my regular account before.. and running virus tools from my hidden admin account fixes them.. but I cannot do the reverse now because my regular account doesn't have access to my admin account.

I know what the virus is.. its a rouge antivirus.. it mostly annoying.. Programs do open up for a split second before this rouge antivirus program closes it again and then lies and gives me a message that says, " Cannot open this program, the program is infected" LOL

Its putting a lot of adware on my system but not crippling it.. but only in the admin account.

What are your ideas?

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...it worked!!! Malwarebytes rock baby!!!

i started in safe mode and was able to access the internet under the admin account, installed and ran malwarebytes..it found 11 rougue virus..not sure what that is but it deleted them and once i restarted and went back into admin account, i was able to get on the internet, run regedit and antivirus software all ofwhich I couldn't do....so now I am running malwarebytes again out of safe mode just to be extra sure...

thanks so much guys...I'm leaving this thread up..might be able to help someone else someday.
