Windows 10: Issue with Bluetooth Speaker Connection and Audio Distortion

Every time I click on the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi button, the Bluetooth speaker connected to my laptop starts producing distorted sound. The audio plays intermittently, stopping and starting in a very jarring manner. After a short while, the speaker gets disconnected automatically. Sometimes, the speaker shows as connected, but no sound comes from it. This issue is very frustrating. I have tried every solution available on the internet, including resetting my PC, but the problem still exists. I would appreciate any help in resolving it.

Issue with Bluetooth Speakers Connected but not listed in sound devices on Windows 11

When attempting to connect my Vizio Bluetooth speaker to my computer, the pairing process is successful. However, despite being paired, the audio continues to play through the computer's built-in speakers instead of the connected Bluetooth speakers. Notably, the Bluetooth speakers do not appear in the mixer settings, preventing me from redirecting the audio output.

Observations:

• In Settings -> Bluetooth & devices -> Devices -> Audio, both Dell U2723QE and VIZIO SB3651 are listed.
  
• In Settings -> System -> Sound -> All Sound devices -> Output devices, only Dell U2723QE is listed.

Note: I have come across multiple reports online highlighting the same issue with Bluetooth speaker connectivity on Windows 11. Despite the prevalence of this problem, it appears that no tickets or decisive action has been taken by Microsoft to address this issue. Therefore, I am posting this problem again in the hope of receiving assistance and contributing to the resolution of this widespread concern.

Bluetooth speakers no longer connect since Windows 10

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I suggest you to disconnect all other media devices, speakers and headphones as shown in picture and only connect the Bluetooth device and check if the issue persist. That could be the reason.

I suggest you to first of all run the troubleshooter and check to find any issues and fix it.

• Search and type Troubleshooting.

  Click on Troubleshooting and select the
  view all option on the left pane.

  Click on Playing Audio troubleshooter and follow the prompts
