    Issue with BSOD - has happened twice.


    At times, closing out of video games sends my new laptop into BSOD mode. This seems to especially happen with games in window mode and I switch between media.     BSOD at least twice a month - uncertain cause

    I have run driver verifier with the below settings for >48 hours. There have been no BSOD. Please advise on next steps
    • I/O verification
    • Force pending I/O requests
    • IRP logging

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Issue with BSOD - has happened twice.

    Random BSOD, started happening today

    Just did all the steps. I suppose there's no way to tell if that solved the issue without using and waiting to see if another BSOD occurs, so I will come back later in case anything happens.
