Issue with DCOM showing up in Event viewer causing a window to pop up and close automatically.

As the title suggests I wanted to investigate why a CMD window would pop up then close randomly on my machine. I went to the Event viewer to see what was happening and saw that there were errors generated by DCOM being unable to communicate or register with a server. Below is the description of that event in the event viewer. The server {20532D01-15BE-4BB9-A727-CA34555D881C} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. This is the same message for every one of the errors that occur somewhat regularly. I would like help fixing this

    :)

Event Viewer Keep Popping up automatically

    Hi Andre,

Sorry for my lack of reference to the question I was answering.

Please refer to the first question on this thread ...

    [ stinglee asked on September 12, 2016

Q:Event Viewer Keep Popping up automatically

As in the subject, my event viewer will pop up automatically with user intervention. Even after I stop the Windows Event log service, a blank event viewer will still pop up and give me a warning that the event log services is not running. How do I
stop this behaviour and prevent event viewer window from popping up automatically?

As per your question on the same page...

    Hello!

After recent upgrade to WIN10 Creators Updated, have started to receive continuously every few minutes 2 pop-up windows at once of Event Viewer. I've tried to clear all event logs and despites there are no critical, error or warning events on machine
pop-us continues. So after some time task bar is full of Event Viewers and I have to close them, what is really annoying. Screen shot of the Event viewer:

Logically there should be an option somewhere in Windows to enable/disable pop-up of Event Viewer for certain events, but I couldn't find that place in the system. No information in the internet regarding that matter could be found as well. The only
suggestions I've found was to disable Event log service, which not good option at all.

Can anyone help me to find the solution of this problem? ]

So, what I have done can empower you as well to "stinglee" and anyone else with the same problem, to prevent "Event Viewer" for popping up!

    Cheers,

    JZ

  3. Event Viewer Keep Popping up automatically

I have tried disabling and enabling various services with no luck. If Event Log is disabled, blank viewers are popping up. I have run scannow several times. Also every troubleshooting service in Control Panel. I have no third party anti-virus, only Windows
    Defender. I tried chkdsk also.

    I install every update immediately.

I have tried every step in this thread I am capable of, not starting in safe mode, I don´t see the point frankly. I can't use the machine in safe mode.

During this problem, about three weeks now, I have installed two or three updates. The problem remains.

First I tried to disable Event Log but war denied due to an error, 1501, if I remember right. The first update disabled Event Log, which then showed up with blank panes. I then got an advice to enable some services which I did, Event Log went back to normal,
    nothing else happened.

Right now I feel that I have too little technical knowledge, but on the other hand; it can´t be necessary for a common user to dig deep into the system with regedit and services.msc

Issue with DCOM showing up in Event viewer causing a window to pop up and close automatically.

Event Viewer problem with latest Windows Build 1607

After installing the new Windows build 1607, the Event Viewer stopped recording events under Diagnostic Performance. (Before 1607 I checked the files located under Windows.old dated 9/23/2016 and located this file which indeed did have a list of events
    recorded.)

Since the initial 1607 download there have been two new builds automatically installed on my laptop.

The last step in an automatic download is the RESTART. Prior to my rebooting, I checked the Diagnostic Performance and for sure, these had the list of events.

Rebooting by me, causes the Diagnostic Performance errors to disappear.

As suggested earlier I have run the SFC/DISM commands with no errors reported.

    Any Ideas?

    Nancy
