Windows 10: Issue with Disk Error 0x8007045D After Formatting D Drive

I recently encountered an issue with my system's disk configuration. I had two disks, one with Windows installed C drive and the other designated for additional storage D drive. However, the D drive encountered corruption, leading me to format it as the data within was not critical.Following the formatting process, the disk was cleared of all data. However, I now encounter an error Error 0x8007045D: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error whenever attempting to create a new file on the newly formatted D drive.Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue

• 
  Is the D: drive located on the same hard disk or on different hard disk?
  
• 
  Did you have any important data saved on the
  D: drive?
  

If the D: is saved on another hard disk and you are unable to access it, I suggest you to format the drive completely and check if the issue is resolved.



To format the hard disk, follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Disk management option.
  
• 
  Right click on the D: drive and select
  Format option.
  
• 
  Wait for the formatting to complete and check if the changes are effective.
