Windows 10: Issue with Font Sharpness on External Monitor Benq GW2480L when Connected to Asus Vivobook...

I have an Asus Vivobook S15 S5504VA laptop with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, and its built-in screen has a sharp and impressive 2.8k resolution. However, when I connect my external monitor Benq, GW2480L 1920 x 1080 as an extended display, the fonts and favicon on the external monitor appear to be less sharp and clear compared to the laptop's built-in screen.

ASUS Windows 11 crashes when connected to external monitor

My ASUS laptop crashes when I am connected to an external monitor and running graphic heavy programs like Unreal Editor. Sometimes it crashes when I am just browsing the web. It never crashes when not connected to the external monitor. ASUS Vivobook, Windows 11 connected to TCL TV/Monitor. The event log gives an error ID of 41. Kernel = Power. I've tried setting monitor to different resolutions and I have updated all drivers. So the external monitor goes blue and says "No Signal". Then I open the laptop and I can tell it is still running but the laptop screen is black and I can't get it back . So I hold down the power button till I here the fan stop, then hit the power button to reboot.

 

External Monitor vs. High Resolution Laptop Monitor DPI

I am running win10 on bootcamp of Macbook Pro Retina. The macbook pro resolution is 2560x1600 and I use 200% scaling in win10. The external monitor is 24 inch with 1920x1200 resolution and I set 100% scaling.

The problem is that:

If I boot the system with the external monitor connected, the external monitor is working correctly with everything on the screen clear and sharp. However the internal macbook pro monitor's fonts are very vague and bold, definitely not the same as it only.

If I boot the system without the external monitor connected and then I connect the external monitor to the macbook pro, then the macbook pro's monitor works correctly, while the external monitor is quite blurry not sharp.

Any fix or help for this problem?

External monitor

Hi, my Aspire V15 laptop is connected to the Benq monitor with an HDMI cable. The system was working perfectly until the last Windows 10 update, but now the computer cannot detect the monitor. When I look at Display options only one screen is shown - the
laptop screen. Win + P does nothing.

Benq customer services say there has been no change to the monitor software which could explain this. They suggested that I update the graphics card and see if that helps. The NVIDIA Geforce 940M is up to date and I have just updated the Intel HD Graphics
5500, but still can detect only one screen.

Trouble shooting software on the laptop tells me that the setting for drivers was that they should not be updated: I have changed that to update automatically in future. My wife's computer uses an external monitor and it still works without a problem, but
she is not aware of having had a big Windows 10 update recently as I had

I haven't tried Safe Mode. How do I do that what should I look for and how might it help?
