  1. Issue with game folders and launching

I downloaded Minecraft Bedrock on the Minecraft Launcher but when I try to load the game it tells me that it "Failed to load game". I went to the files to see if anything was wrong but it turns out I don't have a C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang folder. I just assume it's because it is my first time running the game, hence why they're not there but I just want to make sure that isn't the reason MCBE is not loading.

    :)

  2. Game Launch Issues

Hi Shantal, thanks for your reply and your suggestions!

Unfortunately, none of these steps worked for me. I may reach out to the game developers for their thoughts but I am confident there are no hardware compatibility issues because I am able to launch the games as long as I do so immediately after booting up, and I can play the games for hours without any issues. For the same reason, I am confident that reaching out to any PC component manufacturers would not be fruitful.

  3. Launching games

    Hi Wesley,

Windows 10 is gamer-friendly by design. If an issue like being unable to launch a game happens, it can be caused by outdated display driver or other factors that cause conflict when launching the app. For us to better assist you, we'd like to ask for additional
    information. Please answer the following:

    • What build and version of Windows 10 are you using?
    • Are you getting an error message when launching the game?
    • Have you made any changes to the settings or installed updates prior to this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • What specific games are you having issues with?

We will wait for your response.

  4. Issue with game folders and launching

Network issues when a game is launched.

    Hi MichaelEngen,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

Appreciate your efforts to work on this issue.

    1. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to this issue?
    2. Have you performed a full PC virus scan recently?
    3. Is the PC up to date with all pending updates installed on the PC?
    4. Which game are you referring to?
    5. What is the make and model of the PC?
    6. When you say ‘logged out’, are you referring to the logout from the game or the PC?

We understand that though there is a good internet connection, you are facing issues while a game is launched.

Suggest you to troubleshoot wireless connection and check if that makes any difference. ‘Fix
    network connection issues in Windows
    ’.

Note: The steps to turn off a firewall depend on the firewall software you’re using. Check the documentation for your firewall software to learn how to turn it off. Make sure you turn it back on as soon as you can. Not having a firewall turned on makes
    your PC more vulnerable.

    Hope this helps.

Let us know if you got the help you needed.
